The MV Theia Maldives is a 32-meter steel ship that has recently been modernized with a brand new look. The general focus was on improved spaciousness, luxury, and comfort.
It is perfectly laid out with beautiful private quarters and inviting social spaces indoors and on deck. Scheduled cruises for 18 guests visit all the best diving spots in the Maldives from north to south. Charters are possible.
This liveaboard has a choice of 8 elegant staterooms of different sizes and deck locations. All are shareable and have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and safety deposit boxes.
The Seaview suits (28 sqm) on the upper deck have large windows and amenable double or single bed setups. Our Master suite (30 sqm) with a panoramic view and a double bed is on the main deck.
The lower deck houses five lodgings with portholes; 4 Superior rooms with a double bed and a day bed, and 1 Deluxe cabin with a double bed and two-bed bunks.
The lounge on MV Theia Maldives offers all the amenities you would expect on a luxurious liveaboard nowadays. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the ship. Outdoor recreational spaces include a sky bar on the sun deck and a covered outside dining area at the main deck’s rear. A crew of 12 speaks English and French and takes care of all your needs assuring a happy, untroubled holiday.
A chef and sous-chef prepare delicious fresh food every day. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style with an abundance of dishes. The diner is à la carte with gourmet varieties of international and local origin.
Picnics on the beach will add to the adventurous charm of our cruises. Dietary restrictions can be catered for if our crew is notified in advance.
Theia Maldives is so spacious and quiet because all diving operations take place from the specialized dive dhoni. It stores the air-compressor as well as all equipment.
There’s a team of 3 diving guides to assure you have a personal-oriented experience. 2 or 3 dive opportunities are proposed each day, plus a night dive during the week.
Some dives sites around the coral reefs are tranquil at shallow depth; others are more sporting in relatively deep and lively waters.
In all instances, the dhoni will remain close by to pick you up when you surface.
Rental gear, nitrox, and diving courses are available.

I have been on lots of liveaboards, and this is the best so fair for value & comfort. The food was good with a mix of sea & land (which was great for my daughter). The mix of staff from around the world good fun. I Loved it.
Big boat, lots of room. Good dive guides and good marine life despite bad weather. Great crew, very professional. Good food but could have been more offered between meals. Did not like the cost of water, juice, coffee-would have preferred they charge me 30 bucks more, and it all be free.
