Seafari Explorer 1 had her maiden trip in 2017 in the Maldives. The 37-meter wooden vessel is a clean and modern delight in the Maldivian waters, specially built for discovering these spectacular atolls.
Accompanied by a custom-designed dive dhoni, the Seafari Explorer reaches all the best diving grounds and islands in the Northern atolls, Central atolls, and Southern Maldives. Our scheduled cruises have a duration of 7 to14 nights.
The 12 cabins on Seafari Explorer 1 cater up to a maximum of 24 guests. The air-conditioned quarters are spread over three decks. All cabins have large en-suite bathrooms with shower, toilet, and hand basin.
They offer plenty of storage space and all the amenities one would expect on a luxury yacht. There is a choice of double beds or two single beds.
Our friendly and helpful crew speaks English and French. The main deck is a modern and intimate salon; this is the vessel’s vibrant living room and heart. Also on the main deck is the dining room with an adjacent terrace.
Outdoor are several chilling zones, shaded and sunny. There is a large sundeck with comfortable chaises longues and a jacuzzi on the top deck.
If you’re looking for some privacy, a quiet corner is never far away. You will find all modern conveniences as charging points, multimedia entertainment, and Wi-Fi internet onboard.
The chef prepares both international and local dishes, and once every week, a traditional Maldivian night is organized. A barbecue on the beach is also part of the gastronomic pleasures.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served as a convivial buffet style with healthy and tasty plates for all likings, vegetarians, meat lovers, and seafood fanatics.
If you have special alimentary requests, please inform us at the time of your booking.
There is a bar on board to unwind when the day’s diving is complete.
Seafari Explorer 1 itineraries explore dive sites in the deep South to the far North on 14-night cruises. The 7-night cruises concentrate on the classic Maldives route, including South, North Male, Ari, and Vaavu.
When scuba diving in the Maldives, you can expect to have encounters with whale sharks, manta rays, and several species of sharks. At least once during the dive safari, you can make yourself ready for some spectacular night diving.
MY Seafari Explorer’s diving activities take place from a special dhoni. All diving gear, tanks, and compressors stay on this vessel to keep noises and cluttering away from the main ship. There is a possibility to fill tanks with nitrox for divers who are certified.
Courses are available on request. Weights, weight belts, and aluminum tanks with standard yoke and DIN valves are included. You can rent Special gear at a surcharge. Dive professionals guide all dives.
