The Blue Horizon enterprise has over 20 years of experience in the local tourism industry. The company takes pride in a large loyal clientele. MV Horizon III is the latest addition to the fleet. The 36-meter fibreglass yacht with twin engines is among the best vessels cruising the Maldives. It will comfortably float through this diving paradise and navigate to thrilling surfing spots. ACCOMMODATION

Horizon III has 12 spacious cabins that quarter up to 24 guests. All well-appointed rooms have en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled air-conditioning and ample storage facilities. Guests can select between 9 Standard cabins with twin or double beds, 2 Deluxe cabins with the same choice of bedding and our Master Deluxe cabin with king size bed.

COMFORT

The interior design is light and modern with chic wooden flooring throughout. The indoor lounge has a dining area, bar, digital entertainment system and a library. Each guest has a personal shelf with charging points for equipment in the camera room. Several outdoor leisure areas offer options of shade, sun, privacy or company. For ultimate relaxation, guests can use the outdoor jacuzzi or enjoy a therapeutic treatment from the onboard masseuse. Internet is available at a charge.

CATERING

A wide variety of international dishes is served as a buffet 3 times a day. All meals include fresh produce like salads, locally grown fruits and vegetables. Meals are enjoyed either in the light and airy restaurant or at the outdoor dining space on the front deck. The bar offers an assortment of soft drinks, selected wines, cocktails, beers and liquors. Tea, coffee and chilled water are available all day. A gastronomic highlight during the cruise is a barbecue on a deserted island.

DIVING

Diving takes place from our fully equipped diving support Dhoni, with 3 dive guides. Their technical and biological knowledge is a promise for exciting and safe dive sessions. Trips offer the chance to see big fish, schooling fish, small animals and extensive soft and hard coral reefs. The dive sites are carefully chosen every day. We carefully observe currents, underwater visibility and weather conditions. Rental gear, nitrox and PADI courses are available. Alternative activities include night diving, snorkelling, surfing, fishing and trips to visit local islands and resorts.

ITINERARIES

These are example itineraries to give you an indication of the liveaboard cruises. The final cruise might be different due to weather, sea conditions and/or guest experience. The final call is always with the boat manager and the captain of the liveaboard. This to ensure your safety as well as to give you a dive holiday never to forget.

North Male - Ari - Vaavu - South Male

A chance to see a lot of mantas, grey reefs sharks, white tip sharks, eagle rays, turtles, stingrays, amazing fish life, fantastic hard and soft corals and it’s a mix of thilas, channels and reef diving. Not to forget, we can do wreck diving. There is a 20% chance to see Whale sharks in this area.

Manta Rays, Sharks, Eagle Rays, Sting Rays are the main attraction. Besides this, many Thilas and Reefs with overhangs full of life and colours are there to discover. Soft corals in blue, yellow and pink and schooling fishes are significant in the north. Usually, we do not meet other dive boats, which makes this trip really special and unforgettable.

This trip is more for divers who are used to and love current dives and channel dives, it’s a mix of channel and out reef diving, We can see a wreck of world war 2 called British loyalty,Mantas,Tiger Sharks, hammerheads, Thresher Sharks, whale sharks , grey reef sharks, white tip sharks ,nurse sharks, zebra sharks, oceanic blacktip sharks , guitar sharks ,turtles , Eagle rays and a good fish life.
