Euphoria Liveaboard, Indonesia


Euphoria liveaboard was locally constructed in 2012. It organises affordable diving safaris to Raja Ampat, famous for the coral reefs and marine wildlife. This phinisi schooner has a length of 42 meters and is entirely made of exotic wood. The looks and lovely odors will intensify your feelings of warmth and comfort. Euphoric sensations may hit you by experiencing nature’s divine beauty combined with our 5-star service. Our ship lodges 14 guests (possibly more as a charter). The length of the trip is 12 days but that can also be adjusted for charters.

Euphoria accommodates its guests in 7 fine cabins. All have bathrooms and individual controlled air-conditioning, plenty of storage facilities and television. Daily housekeeping is part of the service. Clean towels and toiletries will be provided. On the lower deck, our guests are lodged in 5 standard cabins with portholes. These cabins are suitable for 2 or 3 persons. On the upper deck, we have 2 very spacious and bright VIP cabins, with large windows and shared outdoor terrace. Both cabins have a double, as well as a single bed.


The cool and cosy lounge area is furnished with comfortable sofas, computer and audio/ video entertainment. The large sundeck is partly shaded and is the perfect place to relax and marvel at the passing views while changing anchorage. Sports massages are optional for our divers to prepare for the next plunge. Our crew consists of 12 dedicated and highly trained members.


Delicious Western and Asian food are served 4 times a day as a buffet with vegetarian choices at all times. You can eat as much as you want. Frequent barbeques on tropical beaches contribute to the euphoric experience of this safari in paradise. A glass of wine is offered to you at dinner time. Different alcoholic beverages can be ordered from the bar.


Euphoria offers a shaded dive deck with rinse tanks and showers. Dive guides are multilingual. They will assist you in every way and take care of your safety. Snorkelers will also get all the attention they need. Several diving courses are available on board, as well as a rental service. All dives start from a specially built diving zodiac or diving pontoon. A normal day gives you the opportunity of 4 different diving sessions. Land excursions are offered to our guest as there is so much to enjoy on the various islands we will pass.


These are example itineraries to give you an indication of the liveaboard cruises. The final cruise might be different due to weather, sea conditions and/or guest experience. The final call is always with the boat manager and the captain of the liveaboard. This to ensure your safety as well as to give you a dive holiday never to forget.

Safari covers North and Central islands: Mansouar, Fam, Wayag, Waigeo, Batanta and many more small islands. The program of the trip can be slightly modified due to weather conditions or organization problems.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1
Picking up the group from the airport in Sorong, boarding the ship, buying a pass for the park (around 500,000rp = approx. 55 USD).

Day 2
Diving: “Sardin Reef”, “Middle Reef”, “Kri Island”, “Sunset Cape”.

Day 3
Diving: “Hidden Reef”, “Manta Station”, “Mansuar’s West Cape”, night diving: “Home Reef”, visiting Suwandarek village on the Mansuar Island.

Day 4
Diving: “Manta Run”, “Manta Station”, Strait of Gam;evening trip around the Penemu Island and campfire on the beach of one of the small islands.

Day 5
Diving: “2 rocks”, “South Penemu Strait”, visiting “Hidden Bay” – a hidden bay inside of the island.

Day 6
Diving: “Lagoon”, “North Penemu”, trip into Kawe Islands direction.

Day 7
Diving: “Eagle Rock”, “West Kawe”, reaching the peak of Bala Bala Island with an impressing view on Raja Ampat Islands, trip into Wayag Islands while crossing the equator („From the South to the North”), diving nearby the monitoring station.

Day 8
Visiting “Rocky Bay”, hiking in the mountains, diving: “Batu 5”, “Batu 4”, “Batu 3”.

Day 9
Islands: Urania and Quoi, diving in the reef around, exploration of a cave.

Day 10
Diving in the reef nearby the Kawe Island, crossing the equator (“From the North to the South”), reaching the Aljuwi Bay.

Day 11
Visiting the pearls’ farm with shopping possibilities, diving: Aljuwi, Woh Island and the way back to Sorong.

Day 12
Departure from Sorong.

Marine Life: Beautiful coral reef combined with a rich underwater life can easily guarantee amazing dives: schools of fish (f.e. tunas, barracudas, horse mackerels), large reef fish (like napoleons, snappers, groupers, sloth bears) and manta rays.
