Carpe Novo Liveaboard is the luxurious upgraded sister ship to the Carpe Diem and Carpe Vita was put into operation in 2016. This 43 m long, top of the range dive boat, caters for up to 22 guests.

No expense has been spared to offer guests a relaxing diving holiday experience in the central atolls and exploration trips to the Northern and Southern atolls of the Maldives. The 8-day / 7-night diving trip offers a total of 18 dives

ACCOMMODATION

This Maldives liveaboard comfortably accommodates 22 guests in 12 spacious cabins. The Carpe Novo has 3 categories where you can choose from.

There are 6 standard cabins on the lower deck (Turtle, Octopus, Frogfish, Dolphin, Barracuda, and Napoleon) that have 2 single beds.

On the main deck are the 2 single cabins (Eagle ray and manta Ray) with queen size bed and large oceanview windows.

The 4 junior suite cabins (Whale shark, Thresher shark, Hammerhead, and Tiger shark ) are located on the upper deck with either a king-size bed or to single beds.

Air-co, en-suite bathrooms and storage space in all cabins ensure the Carpe Novo guests feel right at home on their 8-day stay on board.

Comfort

Between dives, the air-conditioned lounge is a great place to relax. Read a book while you listen to music on the entertainment system, or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, from the comfort of one of the sofas.

Step outside in the open air and take in the wonderful view of the Maldives or enjoy a drink in the shade with the sea breeze in your face. Take a delicious cooled beer or wine from the fully stocked bar, and watch the sun go down in the sea from one of the sun decks.

Catering

Your onboard chef and efficient cabin crew are there to make your liveaboard experience as perfect as possible. Enjoy a buffet-style Asian and Western cuisine in the restaurant and bar on the upper deck of Carpe Novo liveaboard.

Diving

Diving takes place from the custom-built 20-meter long Dhoni, a separate boat that follows Carpe Novo around the Maldives archipelago.

There are 12-liter tanks with air. Nitrox is available for those who are certified. Freshwater showers are located on the diving deck to rinse yourself off after each dive. Freshwater buckets are also available to rinse dive equipment such as cameras, dive computers, and fins.

During your Maldives liveaboard cruise, the multilingual dive crew will make sure you will see all the highlights of the dive sites. with during the day a wide scala of marine life such as turtles, napoleons and several species of shark and rays. or enjoy one of the famous night dives under the jetty where you will be surrounded by more than 80 nurse sharks.

For additional dive training, the Carpe Novo liveaboard offers Nitrox and advanced open water courses.
