Carpe Diem liveaboard is a beautiful, spacious 35-meter long wooden dive boat that was built in 2008. The luxurious Maldives liveaboard can cater to a maximum of 20 people.

The Carpe Diem offers the relaxing experience of diving in the Maldives, North Male, South Male, and Ari Atoll. Or occasionally, dive trips will take you as far as Baa and Raa atoll in the Northern Atolls. The 8-day / 7-night diving trip offers a total of 18 dives


Carpe Diem has ten cabins spread over three levels. You can choose from 4 different cabin types

On the lower deck, you have Six standard cabins that can be used as a twin or double. There is a queen-size bed and a bunk bed.

The cabins on the upper deck are the Deluxe cabin with a queen size bed whereas the suite cabin comes with a King size bed.

All cabins are individually air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with washbasin and hot water showers.

The air-conditioned lounge area on the main deck is also the main briefing area. The flat-screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, and the 24-hour availability of coffee/tea and drinking water all add to your Maldives liveaboard experience.

Take your drinks to the shaded sitting area outside the lounge and enjoy the stunning ocean view from the comfort of the cushioned seating.

Sunbathe or catch the ocean breeze from the comfort of a lounge chair on the partially shaded, spacious sun deck.

On the upper deck, there is an in-house library and a comfortable c shape sofa/reading area. The small studio with internet and other business facilities allows you to stay in touch.


On your Carpe diem Maldives, cruise the chef and well-trained crew will ensure your liveaboard experience is as near to perfect as possible.

The menu consists of Asian and Western cuisine and the semi-buffet style meals are prepared by the onboard chef. These can be enjoyed in the main open-air dining and bar area at the back of the liveaboard.


Scuba diving takes place from the Dhoni, a separate boat that follows Carpe Diem around the Maldives. There are freshwater showers on the diving deck to rinse yourself off after each dive. Freshwater buckets are also available to rinse dive equipment such as cameras, dive computers, and fins.

The very experienced dive guides will show you around the dive sites where you can encounter whale sharks, manta rays and different kinds of sharks. A night dive is also available at least one time during your weeklong liveaboard cruise.

There are additional diving training courses you can follow on the Carpe Diem. Extend your diving time with a nitrox course or earn your advanced certificate and explore the deeper waters.

A notice from Carpe Diem Fleet concerning cancellations of trips with the Carpe Diem Maldives: For any new bookings made before April 30 for any of the remaining spaces on our boats in the summer months up until and including September, Carpe Diem will fully refund in case: the government of the client puts a travel warning “do not travel” to the Maldives the government of the client closes its borders the Maldives does not allow clients from that particular country anymore Only in those cases, we will offer full refunds. For all bookings in place, we remain with our existing policy.
