KLM Sunshine part of Blue Bay Divers is a paradisiacal dive resort located on the Island Sahaung in Bangka, North Sulawesi. Here we delight in the unique opportunity to have a liveaboard vessel at our disposal.
Aboard the stylish KLM Sunshine liveaboard, we organize cruises to Halmahera, Sangihe Islands, Togian Islands, and Buyat Bay. The length of these trips varies from 7 to 11 days.
The traditional schooner was specially constructed for scuba diving. It has a length of 30 meters with an indigenous ironwood exterior and teak interior.
It can accommodate eight guests (possible ten as a charter}. Combining a stay at our resort and joining one of our cruises constitutes the perfect diving holiday.
The KLM Sunshine welcomes eight guests in 4 cabins with private bathrooms and toilets.
Two staterooms are on the upper deck. They have large windows for fresh air and daylight.
The double cabins on the lower deck are air-conditioned and have portholes.
An extra cabin is made available when the ship is chartered. Daily housekeeping is part of the service.
The cool and spacious lounge area is furnished with comfortable sofas, dining table, charging stations, television, computer, library, etc.
The large (partly) shaded sundeck is a magnificent place for relaxation and socializing. Our crew consists of 9 dedicated and highly trained members.
KLM Sunshine liveaboard provides its guests with delightful food that is served in the air-conditioned restaurant.
A hearty breakfast assures a great start to the day. Lunch and dinner are served as enticing, colorful buffets. The kitchen crew expertly prepares delicious curries and fresh seafood. Western food and vegetarian options are part of the menu. All-day snacks will keep divers satisfied between meals.

KLM Sunshine liveaboard has itineraries around North and South Sulawesi and Halmahera. Professional dive guides show you untouched dive spots full of marine life and stunning corals. The dive sites offer a variety of large pelagic and macro marine life.
KLM Sunshine offers guests three dives each day of the liveaboard cruise, including departure and disembark days.
Diving amenities on the dive deck include rinse tanks, showers, and Nitrox tanks.
Please be aware that you will need a nitrox certification to participate in diving on Sunshine liveaboard. If you don’t have a certificate, you can take the course at the blue bay divers resort before departure.
