Starting in beautiful Maumere, surrounded by volcanoes and mountains, we begin our journey discovering the outer pristine coral reefs and walls. Komodo National Park is one of the most iconic diving destinations in Indonesia, famed for its unique blend of adrenaline-pumping current fueled dives, stunning coral reefs, beautiful scenery, and of course the world's largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around noon. Divers are recommended to wait for 24hours before flying after the last dive.
Everyone is welcome on board, no matter what level your certification. We educate divers from the first contact to be proficient, environmentally sensitive, safe divers who respect not only their own but the safety of those around them, whilst ensuring contact with all marine life is passive and respectful.
Open Water referral requires a student to complete confined water training before joining an MV Blue Manta cruise. All PADI Referral forms to be forwarded to our office before the trip departure.
