Empress 2 liveaboard is a unique steel vessel designed to navigate smoothly through all weather conditions. Its equipment and construction warrant comfortable and safe cruising.
If you are looking for an experience beyond recreational diving, this is the vessel to embark on. We organize budget-wise and adventurous dive trips for advanced divers.
Dive safaris include Lombok, Komodo national park, Raja Ampat, Misool, Ambon, and Maumere. Our scheduled trips welcome up to 9 guests for 5 to 11 days. For charters, different numbers are possible.
On deck level -1, we have four cabins with a maximum occupancy of 3 persons. One cabin has three single beds, and three cabins have a double bed and a single bed.
Next to these, there is also a cabin suited for one single passenger. All of the rooms have air-condition, cabinets, reading lights and a mirror. Our passengers make use of shared sanitary facilities.
Seven multilingual crew members will support you during the journey with their knowledge and skills. Deck level 0 has a large lounge and dining space located at the stern.
The decompression chamber is also located on this deck. Deck level +1 is the place for relaxation and entertainment. It consists of 2 sun decks with comfortable sunbeds, bean bags, a bar, and our cinema under the stars. The Internet is available when circumstances allow.
Delicious and healthy food of local and western origin is served three times a day as a buffet. In between, snacks are available.
If you have special dietary requests of a medical or religious kind, let us know in advance. You can order a wide range of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages from the bar.
The Empress 2 liveaboard is fitted with all the equipment that minimizes the risks associated with technical diving and increases the comfort of this type of diving.
The exploration of wrecks and deep seas requires a high-class security system. Next to all the standard facilities, divers can use nitrox and trimix, fast ColtriSub compressors, an electric elevator and decompression bars, and oxygen support with long hoses.
This form of extra surface support is something unique on the MV Empress ii. As the only company, we have an autopilot combined with GPS, rudders, motors, an underwater radar, and 3D side sonar, which allow us to determine our divers’ precise position at all times.
Empress 2 is a budget liveaboard option that brings you scuba diving around the Java Sea to explore the marine life and wrecks on exiting dive sites.
