Diva Andaman was Built-in 2009 and overhauled on the dry dock every year; this 35-meter wooden sailing yacht is one of the most beautiful liveaboards sailing the Andaman Sea.
The Diva Andaman crew of 10 make sure the maximum of 14 guests have a fantastic diving experience in and around the Andaman sea. Diva Andaman has been designed to offer total comfort and luxury.
Step aboard this liveaboard, cruise in style to Myanmar and the Similan islands, and experience an unforgettable diving holiday.
Diva Andaman has seven cabins below deck with portholes for ambient light. The cabins have either a double bed or bunk beds for single guests.
The en-suite bathrooms have hot water showers and a washbasin; natural soap and shampoo are provided. Relaxation before and after dives are essential for the ultimate diving experience. Enjoy a movie on the plasma tv and take a refreshment out of the minibar.
General air-conditioning ensures the cabins are kept at a pleasant temperature 24 hours a day
Dive briefings are given in the lounge, the main meeting area on SY Diva Andaman. The lounge is also an excellent place to relax when you are not diving. Sit at the large table together and look at photos of your previous dives.
Why not just chill out and watch a good movie or listen to your favorite music on the flat-screen TV, DVD/MP3 player? Fridges are well-stocked with soft drinks and beers, as well as a fine selection of fine wines. If you prefer something stronger, there’s a selection of spirits and staff who can prepare a cocktail.
Check out the names of the marine life in one of the books from the library, or pick out an ‘easy read’ which you can enjoy while lounging on one of the decks.
Sunbathe or catch the ocean breeze on the sun deck. Or treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage in the shaded area on the main deck. If you are the fanatical sun-worshipper, the upper deck is the place for you to work on your tan or watch the sunset over the horizon.
Prefer to stay active between dives? Then paddle in one of the available kayaks or take the opportunity to snorkel. There is also time to visit a beach on the islands.
The onboard chef of Diva Andaman prepares four meals a day in the open kitchen in the lounge. Diving takes energy, and what better way to start the day than with a generous continental breakfast and coffee made by the staff with the espresso machine.
Of course, you will have built up an appetite after that first dive, so enjoy a buffet-style brunch of freshly made croissants and bread and ask for eggs, prepared to your personal preference. The lunch, a mix of Thai and Western cuisine, is also served buffet-style.
Dinner is a set menu of Thai or Western cuisine consisting of an appetizer, main meal, and dessert. Dinner is served on the sun deck, weather permitting. And what better way to round off a perfect dive day than on the deck of Diva Andaman eating under a star-filled sky?
The diving deck on the stern of SY Diva Andaman is spread over two levels. To avoid long surface swims, two 40HP Outboard tenders to take you and pick you up from the diving site so you can preserve your energy for the dives.
Diving equipment is available to use free of charge on Diva Andaman live aboard so that you can travel light. There are freshwater showers on the diving deck to rinse yourself off after each dive. A sizeable freshwater bucket is also available to rinse dive equipment such as cameras, dive computers, and fins.
12 liter and 15 liters tanks filled with either air or Nitrox are available.
If you are not certified, you can take the Nitrox certification course or another course while on the liveaboard.
Scuba diving in the Similan Islands, including Richelieu Rock, Tachai, and Koh Bon or the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar, is done in small groups of 4 scuba divers to 1 divemaster. This to make sure you will have full attention underwater, and they can show the incredible marine life of the Andaman sea. From harlequin shrimp to Whale shark.

SY Diva Andaman is a luxury liveaboard cruising the Andaman Sea with week-long dive safaris to the Similan Islands and Myanmar.
Did a 5D/6N liveaboard on Diva Andaman to Similan & Richelieu Rock, Thailand. Even though the weather conditions were not the best, we still had very good visibility and some great diving. Manta Rays at Koh Bon & Koh Tachai!
The boat is fabulous! Very well looked after, nice cabins & excellent food!
If you are looking for a different experience from busy diving holidays I can strongly recommend this trip.
A big thank you to the professional crew and the rest of the guests as well.
