Cheng Ho liveaboard is part of the Sea Safari Cruises Fleet. This shipping company sails with five tropical wooden Phinisi schooners for short and longer leisure expeditions east of Bali. These luxury liveaboards are available to hire as private charters or to embark on the proposed cruises.
Cheng Ho is one of the most comfortable vessels for diving and snorkeling safaris. Next to these water activities, we organize island hopping tours to visit local markets, bird watching, and trekking to admire volcanos and waterfalls. Based on Labuan Bajo in Flores, we regularly visit the Komodo National Park, famous for the impressive Komodo dragons.
We welcome 24 guests in 14 attractive cabins with en suite bathrooms, basin, hot & cold shower, and an air conditioner in each room. We have six cabins with a double bed. These are situated on the lower and upper deck.
Four cabins on the lower deck have twin beds, and four cabins on the middle deck have a single bed. Our cabins are lovely retreats with windows or portholes and artfully crafted wooden paneling and floors. A daily housekeeping service will provide you with fresh towels and toiletries.
On the top deck of our liveaboard is a partly shaded sun deck for relaxing, sunbathing, or enjoying a refreshment at the bar. Feel the sea breeze while the breathtaking seascapes pass you by. On the middle tier are the restaurant and air-conditioned saloon for great indoor rewinding and entertainment, including a tv and DVD player. Our professional and considerate crew will be at your service 24/7.
Cheng Ho liveaboard makes sure that her guests are catered with great food. We are well aware that sea air and diving makes you go hungry.
Our meals are served as delicious buffets. Vegetarian options are offered. Soft drinks and fruits are available all day from our glass door chiller in the restaurant.
Coffee is made from fresh ground beans. Beach barbecues on bounty islands are always popular.
Cheng Ho liveaboard trips are specialized for scuba diving in Komodo national park. All pristine dive sites offer an abundance of marine life, from macro live such as pygmy seahorses and frogfish to manta rays and whale sharks. At least once during your dive safari, a night dive will be organized.
The shaded diving deck is situated at the bow of MSV Cheng Ho. Tenders will bring you to the numerous diving grounds of your interest with a dive guide. The spacious diving deck has warm water showers and a large camera preparation table.
Rental equipment and nitrox are available as well as snorkeling gear, a canoe, and fishing equipment.
