Communal areas include a bar/restaurant, a lounge area with TV and library, and a briefing lounge to prepare you for the next diving challenge.

On deck are several relaxing spaces, both sunny and shaded. You can enjoy a massage during your liveaboard cruise on Amira Indonesia.

Catering

Healthy and delicious food is served four times a day. We offer a light breakfast before the first dive. After the first dive, we have a cooked breakfast made to order.

Lunch is usually served as a buffet with a great choice of dishes. Dinner can be a 4-course meal and a buffet, or even a barbeque on the beach.

Coffee, Tea, and drinking water are available throughout the day at no extra cost. After all, diving is done for the day; you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage at the bar. This can be put on the bar bill and paid to the Cruise director by credit card or cash at the end of your dive safari.

Diving

A typical diving day consists of four dives, including one night dive. Three zodiacs bring small groups to the selected dive sites. Depending on the season, you will dive with whale sharks in Cenderawasih Bay or Explore the underwater world and marine life of Triton bay and the Forgotten Islands.

Besides diving, MSV Amira also allows getting on the islands for a land excursion such as the Komodo national park, where you can encounter the Komodo dragons.

On-Board Amira liveaboard is a practically designed dive deck that offers a considerable space for scuba divers and dive guides. There are storage areas for cameras, dive lamps, etc., and enough rinse tanks and showers. The diving equipment stays mounted on the tank during the whole trip, and the tanks are filled on-site with air or nitrox.

The camera room has a large workbench as well as downloading possibilities. A selection of dive courses is available onboard for certified divers, among which a rebreather course.

West-Papua is without a doubt Indonesia’s best diving area and one of the best dive destinations worldwide.

With over 600 species of coral, a wide variety of colorful macro creatures, and numerous fish species of all sizes, Raja Ampat is a hotspot of biodiversity – this area has been rightly called a species factory by leading marine biologists.

During the trips in West-Papua, the Amira visits the most beautiful dive sites of Raja Ampat.

From Sorong, the trip takes you to the coral and macro paradise of the island of Misool. Dive sites like Gorgonian Passage, Fiabacet, and many more guarantee colorful and memorable dives.

The second part of the trip leads to the northern part of Raja Ampat, where in addition to the dives in fish-rich waters, the spectacular scenery ensures interest.

The cruises come to a crowning conclusion at Cape Kri and Manta Point’s famous dive sites by Mansuar.

Day 1: Amira crew will transfer our Guests from Sorong Airport or Hotel to the ship. After a nice Welcome briefing by our Cruise Director, cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place – before embarking on Sorong. Guests can familiarize themselves with the vessel, set up equipment, and get comfortable.

Day 2-10: We offer 3-4 dives daily, including a dusk or a night dive if possible. When crossing, only two dives a day can be scheduled.

Day 11: Final day of diving with two scheduled dives – sailing towards Sorong Harbour.

Day 12: After breakfast and check-out, we start preparing for disembarkation in Sorong. We say good-bye to our guests and wish them farewell! Amira crew will organize the transfer to the Airport and assist at check-in for onward flights.

Marine Life: At least 75 percent of all coral species can be found in Raja Ampat; divers can expect a range of topography from soft corals and sea fans to hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, deep drop-offs, caves, black sand, and white sand. Giant manta rays, sea turtles, sharks, cuttlefish, pipefish, various seahorse species, and massive schools of reef fish are the norm, plus the delightful wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks inhabit these waters too
